About Us

Welcome to Sea Salt and Pepper, your premier source for information about crafting, sewing, and the equipment used to get things done.

Sea Salt and Pepper was started by a group of crafting enthusiasts who wanted to see more high-quality content on the web for people who love crafts, sewing, and other hobbies. There is no shortage of content on the web, but how can you determine which content is actually reliable? That’s where Sea Salt and Pepper comes in.

Whether you’re looking for the best sewing machine, a guide to buying the right telescope, or reviews and merits of various oil paints, we’ve got what you’re looking for.

But why should you trust reviews done by the Sea Salt and Pepper team? Our writers and editors spend countless hours analyzing, researching, and testing products so that we can recommend the best products for you.

We give solid, comprehensive, unbiased reviews so that you can make the most informed decision possible. We also comb the web reading reviews from real users, not just the manufacturers. Whether reviews on an e-commerce site, social media, or internet forums, we’re out there doing our research and scoping out the best information for our readers.

Here at Sea Salt and Pepper, we cover a huge variety of topics. Here are a few of our most recent topics:

  • Sergers vs. sewing machines
  • Reviews and buying guide for paper cutters
  • Best erasable pens and oil paints
  • The ultimate buying guide for choosing the best amateur telescope
  • Top laminator picks for 2019

In short, if it interests our readers, we write about it.

So if you have ideas and inspiration that you’d like to share, please feel free to leave a comment. You can also get in touch via our contact page. We’d love to hear from you!

We look forward to hearing from you!

I’m the Junior Editor here at Sea Salt and Pepper. My role is to assist our Senior Editor with managing our editorial and content teams. I also do a good bit of writing myself, and it’s great to have diverse job duties. It keeps things interesting and stimulating.

When I was in college, I began my professional writing career by writing for an online news organization. It helped with spending money, and most importantly, gave me some valuable experience in the world of online content.

Working at Sea Salt and Pepper gives me the flexibility I need to pursue the crafts and hobbies I enjoy on the side.

I’m the Crafts Enthusiast for Sea Salt and Pepper.

My love of crafting and sewing began early as I spent my formative years with my mother, grandmother, and aunts as they made quilts, crocheted, and even got into ceramics. When I went to college, it seemed only natural that I study art, and spending four years doing art was rewarding beyond what I can even describe.

When I’m not working, I’m doing what I love: crafting, painting, and sewing.
